Tet Holiday in My Hometown
Speed:

Tet is the most important holiday in Vietnam. Last year, I celebrated Tet in my hometown with my whole family.

Before Tet, my mother cleaned the house and bought a peach blossom tree. My father cooked bánh chưng, a square rice cake, for two days. The smell was wonderful!

On the first day of Tet, we visited our grandparents and wished them a happy new year. My grandmother gave me lucky money in a red envelope. It was more exciting than any other day of the year!

Tet is a time when families come together. I always look forward to it every year.
