Once upon a time, a boy used to cry because he couldn't afford to buy a brand-new pair of costly shoes.

His father was a factory worker, earning him only a meager salary. The father could only buy his son cheap shoes, and this greatly disappointed the boy.

The boy cried and cried, tears couldn't stop falling down his cheecks. Out of frustration and sadness, he ran straight out of the house and came to sit near a bus stop.

While stiting there, the little boy wondered if his parents were ever going to be able to by the shoes that he so desperately desired for. At the exact moment, a beggar passed by on his crutches. The boy was shocked to find that the beggar had no legs. Revealed by the scene in front of him, the boy was enlightened. He was thanked god for giving and caring. From then on, the little boy always appreciated the things he had and never asked for anything more.
